Westerman Multimodal Logistics took the first of a total of 30 new 45ft HC /PW containers into use. These containers are supplied by unit 45 and have the same capacity as a trailer but can be flexibly used on rail, short sea (coastal shipping), and road. With this, Westerman underlines the multimodal character of its organization and takes the next step in providing even better service to its customers on corridors throughout Europe.

The series is seen as a first step in setting up its container fleet, and the next series is already on order.

The units are carried out in the striking and fresh Westerman house style bringing even more green on the rail, water, and freeways!
