Westerman Multimodal Logistics has reached an important milestone: the first shovel has gone into the ground for the construction of a new location in Laar, Germany.

Construction of a new Westerman location in Laar (DE) has officially started!

We’ve reached an exciting milestone: the first pile has been driven for the construction of our new facility in Laar, Germany. We marked this moment together with the mayor of Laar and representatives of Necron Group AG, GVZ Europark, and Borghese.

At this location, we are developing a 60,000 m² facility, including 4,000 m² of rail loading platform. This is a key part of our Green Wagon Corridor: a sustainable rail connection from Sweden (Västerås/Malmö) to Italy (Verona).

With the Green Wagon Corridor, we deliver logistics that matter: solutions that are both efficient and sustainable. Not just for today, but for the world of tomorrow.
