Construction of the new Westerman logistics hub in Västerås (SE) has officially started!

Westerman Multimodal Logistics has taken another great step forward: the official groundbreaking ceremony for a new facility in Västerås, Sweden, has taken place.

Construction of the new Westerman logistics hub in Västerås (Sweden) has officially started!

Together with Jernhusen AB, BRA Group, Västerås stad and other valued business relations, we celebrated this important milestone with the official groundbreaking ceremony.

At this location, Westerman Multimodal Logistics will develop a 25.000 m² railconnected logistics hub for warehousing and crossdocking in combination with an intermodal railterminal. Herewith we are strengthening our logistics capacity in Sweden and it also supports our ambition to make freight transport more sustainable.

This important expansion will become part of our Green Wagon Corridor in addition to our hubs in Malmö (SE), Laar (DE) and Verona (IT).

With the Green Wagon Corridor we are building logistics solutions that are efficient, reliable, and sustainable. It is an investment in the future of transport and logistics, benefiting both our customers and future generations!
